DHAKA: Bangladesh National Cricket Team Captain Mushfiqur Rahim invited Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on his wedding scheduled to be held on September 27.

Mushfiq along with his parents went to the Ganobhaban to invite the premier, also ruling Awami League president.

Sheikh Hasina also received the invitation and blessed him.

She also greeted Mushfiq for the wedding.

The would be wife is Jannatul Ferdous Mondi, BBA student of Prime University, also sister-in-law of Mahmadullah Riad, another cricketer of the national cricket team.

The engagement of Mushfiq and Mondi was completed on October 26, 2013.
