DHAKA: Protesting workers of Tuba Group locked into clash with cops in Badda area of capital on Thursday noon.
Police charged baton and opened fire to take the situation under control.
Workers vandalized shops and markets in the area and vehicular movement was halted.
Earlier, Tuba Group workers were staging protest since July 28 demanding payment of their dues.
