HILI, DINAJPUR: Indian Border Security Force (BSF) returned four Bangladesh nationals to Border Guard Bangladesh through Hili border early Saturday some eleven hours after their detention.
The returnees are Khogen Pramanik, 33, son of Kenaram Pramanik, Robin Pramanik, 30, son of Kachu Pramanik, Bolram, 35, son of Kistha, Kristha Rishi, 33, son of Brishtha Rishi, hailed from Borodapara village of Atrai Thana of Naogaon district.
BSF Hili Zero Line camp commander Sangram Bishal handed over the men to BGB Hili check post camp commander Nayek Subader Rafiqul Islam at 12:00am on the day. Later, BGB handed over them to Hakim thana police.
The four men illegally entered into India with the help of a broker through Kamal Gate of main pillar no. 285 at Hili border on Friday morning. Later, BSF held them at 2:00pm on the day.
Later, BGB held flag meeting with BSF on the matter and BSF agreed to hand over them.
