Siblings drown in Hobiganj

HOBIGANJ: Two sisters have drowned in a pond in Kalikrishnanagar village under the Madhabpur upazila of the district on Friday afternoon.

The deceased sisters were identified as Suma Akhter, 8 and Ruma Akhter, 4, daughters of one Shamim Mia, resident of the village.

Officer-in-Charge of Madhabpur Thana Abdul Baset confirmed the matter to banglanews.
