GOALANDA (RAJBARI): A passenger trawler capsized after being hit by a Utility ferry in Padma River at Daulatdia Ferry Ghat area of the district on Friday night.

No one was reportedly missing in this incident as all the passengers along with the boatman managed to swim to the bank.

Witnesses said the passenger trawler was sailed from Kazirhat of Pabna for Daulatdia in the afternoon.

However, the trawler was suddenly hit by a Utility ferry and sank into the river at Daulatdia Ferry Ghat area around 7:30pm.

The trawler could not be traced yet, said a spot account.
