SAVAR:  Speakers at protest rally condemned the attack on journalist Omar Faruk attackers and demanded immediate action against of the culprits. 

A human chain and a protest rally were held at Ashulia in city, protesting attack of Jhut (Garment waste) traders on the banglanews journalist on Saturday morning. 

The journalists of Savar-Ashulia organized the human chain programme at Savar press club. 

Savar Press club president Javed Mostafa said that attack on journalists is becoming a regular matter. When journalists sought police help, most of the time police took position to the attackers. 

Journalists from various online, print and electric media joined in the human-chain programme.
