COX’S BAZAR: Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) members seized 50,000 pieces of contraband Yaba tablets from Mogpara area of Teknaf municipal of the district on Monday.

Acting on tip-off, BGB-42 members seized those Yaba worth about TK 1.5 crore

Commanding Officer of BGB-42 Battalion Commander Lieutenant Colonel Abujar Al Jahid told banglanews that a BGB patrol team gave signal a suspected man to halt, but leaving a bag the man fled the scene.

Later, BGB men found the Yaba tablets in the bag around 11:00pm.
