DHAKA: A police Sub-Inspector (SI) was injured critically as a human hauler knocked him in Azimpur area of the capital early Friday.

The injured police official is Nazmul Huda, SI of Lalbagh Thana.

SI Akhteruzzaman of the police station told banglanews that a leguna knocked Nazmul’s motorbike down while he was going to his office around 12:15am, leaving him injured critically.

He was first rushed in Dhaka Medical College Hospital and later shifted to National Orthopedic Hospital & Rehabilitation Institute.
