DHAKA: India and Bangladesh, in a bilateral meeting of the border forces, discussed issues related to northeast terrorists and destruction of their hideouts in each others' territories.
A delegation of the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) led by its Director General Maj Gen Aziz Ahmed also met Home Minister Rajnath Singh in New Delhi on Thursday.
The BSF team was led by its DG DK Pathak.
Rajnath, during the meeting at his North Block office, expressed satisfaction over the current scenario along the Indo-Bangla border as he said the two forces are taking necessary confidence building measures and carrying out joint patrolling along the border.
The BGB delegation is on a five-day visit to India for the bi-annual 'Border Co-ordination Conference'.
