DHAKA: Information Minster, also Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) president, Hasanul Haque Inu on Friday labeled former president, also BNP founder, Ziaur Rahman as the villain of the history and Bangabandhu Shukh Mujibur Rahman as the hero of the history.

Inu made the remarks while addressing at the inauguration ceremony of Sobrita Abriti Utsab-2014, a poetry festival, at Teachers’ and Students’ Centre of Dhaka University in the city on the day.

The JSD chief said, “We will try the killers, who slew people during 1971 Liberation War, and Bangabandhu and it is time to hang the collaborators.”

“We will have to fight unless Bangladesh get rid of the collaborators,” he added.    

Presided over by Sobrita Abriti Charca and Bikash Kendra president AKM Shamsuddoha, National Housing Authority chairman Shahidullah, Dhaka district superintendent of police habibur Rahman, among others, spoke at the function.
