SATKHIRA: At least 30 people were injured in an accident on Satkhira-Khulna highway at Shakdah Bridge area in Patkelghata upazila of the district on Monday afternoon.

Quoting locals, Officer-in-Charge of Patkelghata Thana Mamunur Rashid told banglanews a passenger bus knocked a bicycle in the area as the bus driver lost his control over the steering, leaving 30 people injured.

Eight of the injured were rushed to Sadar Hospital, he added.
