DHAKA: The autopsy of Channel I program presenter Maulana Nurul Islam Faruqui has been finished at Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue on Thursday. 

Forensic Department Lecturer Dr Hossain made autopsy around 11:00am.

Doctor Hossain said that several serious injury marks were seen in the body and it was a preplanned killing. 

Faruqui’s son Faisal Faruqui told banglanews that the body will be taken to East Razabazar residence where first Namaz-e-Janaza will be held after Maghrib prayer. 

Later, second Janaza will be held at Jatiya Eidgah field on Friday. 

Earlier on Wednesday, miscreants stabbed the program presenter of Channel I, one of the leading private television channels of the country, to death at East Razabazar in the city.
