HABIGANJ: A man and his son among three killed in a road accident in Syedpur area under Nabiganj Upazlia of the district on Friday morning. 

The deceased were identified as Kazi Sayeed Ahmed, 80, his son Kazi Hafizur Rahman, 40 and Rezaul Karim, 25 son of late Chand Mia. 

Local sources said that an auto rickshaw collided head on with a microbus in the area around 10:00am, leaving Kazi Hafizur Rahman and Rezaul Karim dead on the spot and Sayeed Ahmed critically injured.  

Later, the injured was rushed to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital where duty doctor declared him dead. 

Sherpur Highway Thana Sub-Inspector Humayun Kabir confirmed the matter to banglanews.
