GOALUNDO, RAJBARI: Launch services on the Daulatdia-Paturia river route have resumed on Monday morning after a 10-hour suspension due to rough weather.

Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC) Inspector Faridul Islam told banglanews that the authorities had suspended the movement of launches at 9:00pm on Sunday due to heavy waves in the Padma River to avoid any accident.

Later, the launch service started at 7:00am on Monday.
