DHAKA: State Minister for Home Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal on Tuesday said some 10 close circuit cameras would be installed at the 12 different entrance points of the city to prevent extortion at cattle markets during Eid-ul-Azha.

The state minister made the disclosure in response to a query of the journalists after addressing a program on ‘preparation in preventing flood’ at BRAC Centre Inn in Mahakhali area of the city.

He told the journalists: “No extortion will be tolerated. Legal action will be taken against the extortionists by examining the CC camera footages.”
