DHAKA: A construction worker sustained bullet injuries at Tejkunipara of Tejgaon in the capital on Wednesday.

The victim is Harun-or-Rashid, 45.

Sources told banglanews that the incident took place in the morning at an under-construction building of Avenue Builders.

Co-workers of the victim said that Harun was injured when two youths opened fire there over not getting an engineer named Sohel in the site.

However, the firing left Harun bullet wounded, they added. Later, financial advisor of the site Wahiduzzaman rushed the injured to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).

Confirming the matter to banglanews, DMCH police camp in-charge Mozammel Haque said that Harun is now undergoing treatment there.
