DHAKA: The Anti-corruption Commission (ACC) quizzed Palli Daridro Bimochon Foundation (PDBF) Managing Director Mahbubur Rahman for his alleged involvement in misappropriation of money of solar purchase project.

ACC Assistant Director Shamsul Alam quizzed him from 11:15am to 11:45 at its head office in city’s Segun Bagicha area on Thursday. 

As per allegation received by the anti-graft body, crores of taka, which was provided for solar purchase, had been embezzled in the PDBF. 

A total of 55 non-government organizations were given work from climate change resilience fund but there is no existence of 10 NGOs, it was mentioned in the compliant.
