DHAKA: Some 36 Bangladeshi nationals were retuned home from Thailand jails, says a press release by the Foreign Ministry on Thursday.

On September 12 and on September 20, some 16 and 20 Bangladeshis were brought back to the country.

Foreign Ministry is bringing back those Bangladeshis, held while going to Malaysia through Thailand illegally, by coordinating with the Bangladesh Embassy to Bangkok.

The ministry sources said they brought back some 163 people so far.
