UN Agenda to Adopt Vision-2021

DHAKA: Foreign Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali on Wednesday said the Vision-2021 taken by government would be adopted in the next development agenda for 2015 of the United Nations. 

The foreign minister was addressing a press conference on the UN General Assembly on September 26 at his office in the city.

State Minister for Foreign Affairs M Shahriar Alam and Foreign Secretary M Shahidul Haque were among others present at the conference.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will leave Dhaka on September 21 to attend the general assembly and deliver speech on September 27.

Ali said the premier would highlight the international peace, security, democracy, good governance, woman empowerment, migrant workers’ rights, government’s initiatives to alleviate poverty and address climate change.
