Fire at Chawkbazar market

DHAKA: A fire broke out at a market in Chawk Mogholtuli area of Chawkbazar in the capital on Saturday noon.

The fire originated at ground floor of the five-storey market around 1:30pm.

On information, two fire fighting units from fire service headquarters and two more from Lalbagh fire office rushed to the spot. After an 30 minutes effort, they doused the fire.

Fire service headquarters telephone operator Anisur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
