DHAKA: British High Commissioner Robert W Gibson opined that Bangladesh remained lag behind due to natural disasters. 

The diplomat came up with the observation while inaugurating a solo photo exhibition by Fezit Sheikh Babu at the National Museum in city on Saturday morning.

Robert Gibson said that the exhibition was organized over nature and natural disasters at the time when the UN has been arranging a seminar on the issue, which is very relevant.

Meanwhile, Robert Gibson praised and thanked photographer Fezit Sheikh.

With Professor Dr Abdul Mannan Chowdhury, Vice Chancellor of World University in the chair, National Professor Dr MR Khan and Science and Technology affairs parliamentary committee chairman Dr AFM Ruhul Haque, among others, attended in the function.

The exhibition will remain open from 10:30am to 5:30pm till September 29.
