GAZIPUR: A fire broke out at a ready made garments factory in Kashimpur area under Konabari Industrial area of the city around 5:00am Sunday.

Some 10 fire fighting units brought the blaze under control after a four-hour frantic effort.

Deputy-Assistant Director of Gazipur Fire Service Akhtaruzzaman confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Quoting witnesses, he said the fire broke out from the second and third floor but failed to make any comment over the cause of fire and worth of damaged property.
