DHAKA: Miscreants blasted a cocktail outside of Inspector General (IG) of prisons office at Jail Directorate in Bakshibazar area of Chawk Bazar Thana of the capital on Sunday.

Azizul Haque, Officer-in-Charge of Chawk Bazaar, said the cocktail hit the security wall of the office of IG prison Syed Iftekhar Uddin around 11:00am.

However, none was injured in the blast.
