CHITTAGONG: The fire fighting teams doused the fire which broke out at Fegichach Knitting and Apparels Ltd in South Halishohor of the port city on Tuesday.

Deputy assistant director Jasim Uddin of Agrabad Fire Service said they doused the fire around 9:15am.

After the frantic effort of 1:30 hours, three fire service units control the blaze, he added.

Jasim Uddin said “The fire broke out at 7:45am on the 5th and 6th floor of the garment and more than two hundreds workers were evacuated”.
