PARBATIPUR (DINAJPUR): A man committed suicide after killing his wife and daughter in Rajbati area of Dinajpur Sadar upazila of the district on Wednesday noon.
The deceased were identified as Rony Sarker, 30, his wife Swapna Das, 25 and three-year old daughter Bhumi Sarker.
Inspector of Dinajpur Kotwali Thana Hipjur Munshi confirmed the matter to banglanews.
People peeped into their house as they did not get any sound and found the hanging body of Rony and informed police, he said.
Later on information, police broke into the house and recovered the bodies of husband, wife and baby girl, he also said.
Inspector Hipjur Munshi also said Rony might have committed suicide after killing his wife and girl failing to tolerate poverty.
He added: “We have sent the bodies to Dinajpur Medical College and Hospital for an autopsy.”
