DHAKA: A youth was crushed under wheels of a Dhaka-bound train in city’s Khilkhet area on Thursday afternoon.

The identity of the deceased aged around 25, could not be known immediately.

Police sources said that a Dhaka-bound train crushed him in the area around 4:30pm while the person was walking on the rail track.

The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Officer-in-Charge of Kamlapur Railway Thana Abdul Mazid confirmed the matter to banglanews.
