DHAKA: Thousands of home goers have been fallen under immense sufferings after train schedule at the central Kamlapur Railway Station was drastically collapsed. Women and children are suffering more.  

No train is either arriving or departing the station on time.

Station sources said Lalmonirhat-bound Rangpur Express was scheduled to depart the station at 8:00am. Till filling this report at 1:30pm, the train did not arrive at the station and will be there at 2:40pm, according to the station sources.

Chittagong-bound Mahanagar Pravati departed the station at 10:30am instead of its scheduled time at 7:40am, Khulna-bound Sundarban Express at 9:20am instead of 6:00am, Drutojan Express of Dhaka-Dinajpur route at 9:00am instead of 6:00am and Rajshahi-bound Dhumketu Express left the station at 9:00am instead of 6:00am.

Kamalapur Railway Station Khairul Bashir told banglanews, as more passengers are getting in and getting down at different stations, the trains arrives late at the destinations.

Departures of the next trains may also not be on schedule, added the sources.
