DHAKA: A fire broke out at a private clinic in Mouchak area of the city on Friday noon.

The fire originated at Holy Dental Care Clinic of the area at 1:35pm. Witnesses said the fire originated at the 2nd floor of the five-storied building.

The fire might have originated from electric short circuit, police sources said.

Two units of fire fighters brought the flame under control, said witnesses.

Some furniture and an air-conditioner, worth Tk one lac, were gutted in the fire.

Sub-Inspector of Shahjahanpur Thana Nasir confirmed the matter to banglanews.
