DHAKA: The Public Administration Ministry has issued show cause notices to three secretaries and one joint secretary to explain why it should not be taken actions against them for violating discipline and rules of procedure.

The three secretaries are Health Secretary Niaz Uddin Mia, Public Service Commission (PSC) Secretary AKM Amir Hossain and former Secretary to Liberation War Affairs Ministry KH Mahmud Siddiqui, currently an OSD and the Joint Secretary to Liberation War Affairs Ministry Abul Kashem Talukder, who is also currently an OSD.

The freedom fighter certificates of the four high ups of the government were cancelled as their certificates were found fake.

Senior Secretary to the Public Administration Ministry Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He also said they would not issue any gazette notification in this regard.

The ministry also postponed the certificate of former secretary to Prime Minister’s Office Molla Wahiduzzaman who is currently appointed as the Chairman of Privatisation Commission.

In response to a question, Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury said Molla Wahiduzzaman was contractually appointed and that’s why the cabinet division rather than public administration ministry would take actions against him.
