DHAKA: Government is going to cancel the licenses of some 21 hajj agencies as part of the punishment for fraudulences against the pilgrims.
Religious Affairs Ministry’s secretary Babul Hasan told the journalists at a press conference on hajj passenger transportation at the Civil Aviation and Tourism Ministry in the Secretariat of the city Tuesday.
Babul said that some 21 agencies used the opportunity of personal interests, they have just collected money; their licenses will be cancelled, confiscated their surety money and sued for criminal offenses.
No culprits will be spared, added Babul.
