DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is set to leave Dhaka for Italy on Wednesday morning to attend 10th Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) Summit-2014.
A VVIP flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, carrying the premier and her entourage, is scheduled to depart Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the capital at 10am and will land at Milan Malpensa International Airport around 3:00pm.
However, she will return home on October 18.
Sources said that the PM will deliver speech there at the ASEM Summit on 'Asia Partnership in addressing Global Matters in an Inter-connected World" on October 16.
Moreover, she will discuss on different important issues of Bangladesh like climate change, millennium development goals (MDGs), disaster risk management and expanding connectivity between Asia and Europe, in the Summit.
Nevertheless, Bangladesh became a member of ASEM in 2012.
