39 fortune seekers held in Ctg

CHITTAGONG: Police detained 39 Malaysia-bound fortune seekers from Shah Amanat Bridge area of the port city on Thursday morning.

Details of the detainees could not be known immediately.

Sources said that acting on a tip off, police stopped a passenger bus in the area around 11:00am and detained the people 

Confirming the matter, Bakalia Thana Officer-in-Charge Mahsin told banglanews that no middle men were detained in this connection.
