SATKHIRA: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested six people and recovered two tiger hides in front of Sangram Tower on Satkhira-Kaliganj road on Thursday night.

The detainees are Gazi Selim, 35, of Sumuria thana, Sheikh Baktiar Uddin, 42, of Ashashuni upazila, Rabiul Islam, 35, and Mostafijur Rahman, 36,  of Koyra upazila, Farukh Sana, 25, and Amirul Islam 25, of Paikgachha upazila of the district.

Major Adnan, deputy commander of RAB-8, said it in a press briefing on Friday at office of Satkhira RAB-6.

Law enforcers also recovered 10 rounds of bullets, six mobile phones and two motorbikes.
