DHAKA: District bus owners and workers association has called an indefinite transport strike in the district from Sunday morning protesting the vandalizing of buses and trucks.

Roads and Transport Workers Union President Selim Ahmed Falik confirmed the matter to banglanews on Saturday evening.

Selim Ahmed said the transport strike would be enforced in the district from 6:00am Sunday demanding the arrest of the attackers.

Earlier in the noon, some bus workers and human hauler workers were involved in a clash over a trifle matter. Several buses and trucks were vandalized in the incident.
