5 Bangladeshis killed in Saudi Arabia

FROM RIYADH: Five Bangladeshis were killed and two others injured in a road accident in Jabal al-Noor area of Mecca in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday morning (local time).

The deceased were identified as Ayub, Nazir Hossain, Farid, M Alam and Masur Alam, hailed from Eidgah area of Cox’s Bazar of Bangladesh.

Coworker Badshah Mia confirmed the identity of the deceased people.

He said that the accident took place at 8:00am while they were going to work. Two fatally injured--Joynal and Islam—were rushed to hospital.

Bangladesh Consulate in Jeddah confirmed the matter.
