DHAKA: A Dhaka court on Wednesday placed a youth, Haider Ali Mijhi, on a two-day remand for posting a photo on the facebook with derogatory remarks ridiculing Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. 

Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court Judge Shahriar Mahmood Adnan passed the order when Sub-Inspector Anarul Islam of Shahbagh Thana produced him before the court with a seven-day remand plea.

Police detained Haider Ali Mijhi from TSC (Teacher-Student Centre) area of Dhaka University around 8:30pm Tuesday (October 21).
