DHAKA: Three ruling Awami League leaders and activists were killed in Bogra, Chapainawabganj and Sylhet on Friday.

Bogra: A Sainik League activist, Shimul Haque Rehan, 35, was stabbed to kill and another one was injured inside the Awami League office at the district sadar Zero Point on Friday evening.
Witnesses said a group of 4-5 miscreants stabbed Rehan and Sabuj Saudagar at Awami League party office at Satmatha Temple Road near Zero Point in the town, leaving them injured critically.
Rehan was rushed to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College where on duty doctor declared him dead.
In-charge of Bogra Sada Police Outpost Sub-Inspector Manjurul Haque Bhuiyan confirmed the matter to banglanews.
However, SI Manjurul Haque failed to inform where the other injure was being treated.
Sylhet: Miscreants killed a Jubo League activist, Abdul Ali, 40, in Companiganj upazila of the district on Friday evening.
Officer-in-Charge of Companiganj Thana Delwar Hossain told banglanews that miscreants attacked Abdul Ali at Katakhal area of Sylhet-Companiganj road, leaving him injured critically.
Local people rushed him to MAG Osmani Medical College and Hospital where on duty declared him dead.
Chapainawabganj: Miscreants shot dead a Jubo League activist, Monirul Islam, 30, in front of the stadium of Shibganj municipality area of the district in the evening.
Officer-in-Charge of Shibganj Thana Ashikur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
