Police bus plunge kills 1, hurts 15 in Khagrachhari

KHAGRACHHARI: A police constable was killed and 15 other police personnel were injured as a bus carrying them plunged into a roadside ditch in Moynatila area under Sadar upazila of the district on Saturday night.

The deceased was identified as Abu Bakar Siddique.

The accident occurred around 7:30pm in the area. However, the injured police members were rushed to hospitals.

Khagrachhari Sadar Thana Officer-in-Charge Mizanur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
