Minor drowns in Jhenaidah

JHENAIDAH: A three-year-old girl drowned in a canal at Kulbaria village under Horinakundu upazila of the district Saturday night.

The deceased was identified as Maya, daughter of Rabiul Islam of the village.

Horinakundu Thana Officer-In-Charge Ersadul Kabir told banglanews that the girl went missing the evening. 

Later local found the floating body in the nearby Boaligami GK irrigation canal.
