DHAKA: Detective Branch of police detained eight persons with counterfeit currency making tools and seized forged notes worth Tk 1 crore Saturday. 

However, the identities of the detainees could not be known immediately, sources told banglanews.

Confirming the matter, deputy Police Commissioner of DMP Media Cell, Saidur Rahman said that the detainees’ details will be disclosed on Sunday at a press conference at DMP Media Center at 11:30am.
