DHAKA: The members of India’s anti-terror organization National Investigation Agency (NIA) has given a list of 11 militants to the high officials of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) on their alleged involvement in Burdwan blast.
The team of NIA members gave the list to RAB officials after a meeting at the RAB Headquarters on Tuesday evening.
The one hour long meeting started at 6:00pm.
Media and Legal Wing Director of RAB Mufti Mahmud Khan told banglanews that the NIA representative and RAB officials talked on militancy.
Moreover, the NIA members showed their keen interest to work together with the law enforcers of Bangladesh to take initiative against the suspected militants, he added.
Indian anti-terror organization also praised and mentioned the consistent success of RAB for taking action against militancy.
Director General, Deputy Director General and other high officials of the elite force were present at the meeting.
