DHAKA: Detective Branch (DB) Police detained deputy general manager (DGM) Imdad Hossain among five high officials of Biman Bangladesh Airlines for their alleged involvement in gold smuggling.

The others detainees are- captain Shahid, manager Tozammel haq, money exchange trader Harun and contractor Polash.

Confirming the matter, DMP media center additional deputy police commissioner Saidur Rahman said that they were held on Tuesday night and details will be disclosed at a press briefing at noon.
