RAJSHAHI: Miscreants slaughtered a youth and his mother in Deolia village under Bagmara upazila on Sunday night.

The deceased was identified as Jahidur Rahman Jahid, 25, student of MA of Rajshahi College and his mother Akhlima Begum, 50, wife of one Mojibar Rahman of the area.

On information from locals, rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies on Monday morning. Besides, a team of Criminal Investigation Department (CID) also visited the spot.

The bodies were sent to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Officer-in-Charge of Bagmara Police Station Abu Obaida Khan confirmed the matter to banglanews.
