DHAKA: Police recovered body of an unidentified man in Kaptanbazar area under Wari Thana in the city early Friday.

Wari Thana Sub-Inspector Swapan Kanti Deb told baglanews that police rescued him unconscious from Kosail Gully place of the area and rushed him to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) where on-duty doctor declared him dead.

Reasons behind the death could not be known immediately; the body, however, bore blood-stained marks on the forehand.

Police sent the body to DMCH morgue for autopsy.
