DHAKA: A woman allegedly killed her husband in Khilgaon area of the city on Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Abdullah, 35, used to work as pickup van driver and resident of Khilgaon area.

Police sources said that Abdullah’s first wife Rashida alleged that his second wife Sweety might have killed him.

Rashida claimed that Sweety has killed her husband and brought the body to her Chawkbazar’s residence in the noon. However, on information, police rushed to the place and investigating the matter.

Police detained Sweety in this connection. Several injury marks were found on Abdullah’s body.

The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for autopsy.

Duty Officer of Chawkbazar Thana Aminul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
