DHAKA: Two cases have been filed against Supreme Court (SC) lawyer Tuhin Malik on allegation of derogatory remark about Constitution and hurting religious sentiment.
Assistant Secretary of International affairs of Chhatra League central sub-committee Golam Rabbani filed the law suits with the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court of Dhaka at Tuesday noon.
Judge Hasibul Haque, magistrate of CMM Court, ordered the OC of Shahbagh Thana to register the cases.
The case statement said on November 30, Dr Tuhin Malik gave a speech at Lily Garden Auditorium in London defaming several sections of the Constitution and hurting religious sentiment.
