MUNSHIGANJ: Three buses were set on fire in Lichutala Bus Stand area of the district early Tuesday.

According to the sources, miscreants set on fire at two Dighirpar Transport Line buses and a Kusumpur Paribahan bus parked at that area around 3:15am.

Locals, later, doused the blaze, said a spot account of the accident.

All the buses were plying on Munshiganj-Dhaka route.

However, a helper of a damaged bus Parvez filed a case with Munshiganj Sadar Thana in this connection.

Confirming the matter, duty-officer of the thana Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Sumon said that police is looking into the matter.
