DHAKA: Aggrieved students of Jessore University of Science and Technology (JUST) barricaded the Jessore-Chougachha road on Friday following a road accident that left a student of JUST dead.

The students also torched the truck which rammed a human hauler carrying the student and others around 12:15pm.

The blockade halted plying of all types of vehicle on the road.

Earlier in the day, three people, including a JUST student, were killed and 10 others injured as a truck smashed a human hauler in Pultadanga area on Jessore-Chougachha road on Friday morning.

Sub-Inspector of Jessore Kotwali Thana Miraj Mosaddek confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Huge law enforcers and riot police has been deployed to avert any unwanted sitution in the area, the SI added.
