DHUNAT, BOGRA: Miscreants slaughtered a newly married school teacher in his house in Rudrobaria village under Dhunat upazila early Monday.

The deceased was identified as Shahidul Islam, 35, son of Azmal Hossain, assistant teacher of a local primary school.

Confirming the matter Officer-in-Charge of Dhunat Thana Ziaur Rahman said, miscreants entered into his room early Monday and left the scene slaughtering him.

Police recovered the body, however police yet to know the mystery behind the murder, he added.
