KUSHTIA: India’s Border Security Force (BSF) picked up a Bangladeshi youth from Challishpara frontier of Dowlatpur upazila of the district on Monday.

The victim is identified as Maudud Hossain, 24, son of Moinuddin of Challishpara village.

Border outpost (BOP) commander Nayek Subeder Mamtaz Hossain of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) 47 battalion confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said Jalangi BSF patrolling team of Murshidabad district detained Maudad while he was trying to intrude India.

However, BGB sent a letter to BSF Jalangi BSF camp to return the Bangladeshi.
